Coconut Coir Cement Tank




A Tank of desired size is excavated with side slope 1:1 (slope will depend on angle of repose of soil ). After the brick work at the bottom and all sides, coconut coir is laid on the surface and cement slurry is poured over the coir. The quantity of slurry should be sufficient to keep the coir wet. This surface is then plastered with mortar ( cement 1 : 3 sand ) and cement finishing is carried out and cured properly.
