Konakan Jal Kund (Above the ground)
As shown in photograph, a tank of desired size is erected on the ground using plastic gunny bags in a similar manner to those used in vanarai bandhara. This tank is then lined up with polyethylene sheet and covered with panels of bamboo and rice-husk dry grass.
